Standard play pools start around $50k when using a pool contractor. Most people are looking for more than a standard swimming pool these days, and cost will increase depending on design. We aim to work with a realistic budget when we meet with our customers during the design process. The average backyard project will cost roughly $90k - $175k for most backyards with a pool contractor. We can save you 10% or more on markup! Every project is different, and timeframes vary depending on design complexities. Depending on your permitting jurisdiction, engineering needs, and how custom you want your backyard to be will factor into your total project timeline. For projects located in Gilbert, Chandler, and Mesa, your permitting will be 2-3 weeks for most designs. Areas such as Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and Phoenix can take 4-6 weeks or longer to receive final approval. The average backyard will take 8-12 weeks to complete once we're able to get construction going. More complex jobs can take 16-20 weeks. We strive to build as fast as we can, but quality and doing things right the first time is more important to us than cutting corners and delivering poorly built "quick" pools. 

We offer a FREE design consultation where we can learn about your project and come up with a plan. Once you decide to move forward with hiring SWIMDAY, we require a signed consulting agreement with a non-refundable $5,000 project deposit. This deposit goes towards your design, permits, and plans. Once you have decided on a final design, we will collect your bids for each phase of construction, so you know exactly what your project is going to cost. Once all bids are received, we charge a 10% consulting fee minus your $5,000 deposit. The 10% fee balance will be paid in two phases, half before excavation and half after final inspection. 

No, SWIMDAY is not a contractor, and we do not offer any warranties or ongoing service. You will have warranties from each contractor for two years and you can contact them directly with any warranty needs. Most large pool builders offer smoke and mirror "warranty plans" making it very difficult to actually get the work done. You will have access directly with each phase making any repairs or warranties easy to take care of.

SWIMDAY is a pool construction consulting group helping homeowners build their own pool for less money. Most large builders have 20%-30% markups and you have to deal with multiple departments of people to get your project completed. We cut out the red tape and make it easy for homeowners to enjoy their backyard for less!

We provide each homeowner with a simplified HOA plan. It is the homeowner's responsibility to submit and adhere to their HOA guidelines. 

A normal pool contractor will markup each phase between 25% and 30%! Because we don't have sales reps, project managers, and office staff to pay, we can offer our consulting services for over half the cost! We simply provide contractor-direct pricing and allow homeowners to pay actual costs straight to the sub-contractor rather than use a pool builder.
