SWIMDAY Consulting Fees: SWIMDAY charges a consulting fee of 10% of the total project estimate. $5,000 of this 10% is to be paid prior to the design process once agreement has been signed. The additional amount of the 10% is to be paid 50% at pool excavation and 50% after final inspection is passed. There are no exceptions on payment amount or payment structure. SWIMDAY has a $5,000 minimum consulting fee. 

Refunds: SWIMDAY does not offer any refunds on the $5,000 design deposit. If a homeowner decides not to proceed with the construction portion of the project, they will not be responsible to pay the 10% balance.

How Payment Process Works: The homeowner will pay SWIMDAY using Zelle or personal check. No credit cards allowed.

Design Process Fees: Our consulting package includes one custom pool design with one small revision. If a homeowner would like more revisions, SWIMDAY will charge an additional $150 per revision and $750 for a completely new design. 

Permit Submittal Fees: It is the homeowner's responsibility to pay for the engineering and permits for their project. SWIMDAY covers the labor for these items on standard projects. Projects that include shade structures, custom features, additional details will have added fees. 

Large Project Fees: SWIMDAY has the right to adjust their consulting fee based on project complexity. If a project is larger than average and requires more oversight and labor, SWIMDAY will charge additional fees. Most large projects will be charged 12% and require a $6,500 design deposit.

Paying Sub-contractors Directly: SWIMDAY is not a general contractor. Homeowners will be responsible to pay each sub-contractor directly for their work. SWIMDAY does not collect, pay, or deposit any payments for each phase of construction. ALL PAYMENTS must be made within 48 hours of work completed in the form of ACH or personal check (no credit cards allowed).

Warranties: SWIMDAY does not offer any warranties. Each sub-contractor offers the Arizona Contractor two-year workmanship warranty. Homeowners are responsible to work with each sub-contractor directly as needed with ongoing warranty issues. SWIMDAY can help with initial communication but we're not responsible for any warranties.

Ongoing Support: SWIMDAY does not offer ongoing maintenance support. We have great referrals for pool service companies that can help with ongoing support. 

Liability: SWIMDAY is not liable for any property damages, injuries, or any workmanship issues that can arise. We are not licensed or insured as a contractor. We only offer consulting services.

SWIMDAY is not a licensed pool contractor. We offer design and construction consulting services allowing homeowners to save money building their own pool. Please note it is the homeowner's responsibility to make sure their project is built correctly. SWIMDAY will help every step of the way to make sure your pool and backyard turn out amazing!
